A fire broke out at a shop with flats above near the Bell Corner in Walthamstow this afternoon.
Four fire engines and 25 firefighters were called to Chingford Road shortly before 1pm.
Part of the ground floor of the building was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

Chingford Road was cordoned off while emergency services dealt with the blaze and traffic was diverted.
Crews from Leyton, Deptford and Tottenham stations attended and the fire was under control at around 2pm.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
