A 20-year-old man from Loughton has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possessing drugs after police stopped a stolen car.
Officers from Epping Forest community safety team signalled to the Volkswagen Golf to stop in Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill, on Thursday, November 29.
The driver of the car, which had been stolen during a burglary in north London in October, tried to get away but was boxed in by officers.
Sgt Neil Ross, from the Epping Forest District Council funded police team, said: "CSP police team officers were involved in the interception of the vehicle whilst on targeted burglary patrols in the south of the district."
