Students put on their dancing shoes for an annual parade to celebrate the festive season.
The King Harold Academy Samba Band and dancers from Years 7 and 9 joined this year’s Cavalcade of Light parade in Waltham Abbey on November 30.
Waltham Abbey mayor councillor Jeanne Lea switched on the Christmas lights before the parade of community floats made its way from Cornmill car park to Sun Street.
The King Harold Academy float was led by Year 9 pupil Ryan Locke.
Head of music Diana Russell said: “The band sounded excellent. It was lovely to see so many King Harold students cheering for us from the crowd.
"Well done to all the students involved. They did King Harold Academy proud."
