An estate agent was robbed of his BMW, a £1,000 coat, a £5,000 watch and phone stolen at knife point outside his own home.

The 25-year-old had just returned from home and was parking outside his home in Woodford Green at 7.15pm on November 29 when the mugging happened.

He was approached by two men, with a third carrying a zombie knife, they forced him to lie on the floor while they made him remove his £1,000 Canada Goose coat and £5,000 Rolex watch before stealing his black BMW 420.

The victim, who did not want to be named, was left with a small laceration on his hand but is now doing well.

The mother of the victim, was inside their family home in Harts Grove, Woodford Green, with her husband when the incident occurred.

She said: “My son was white as a ghost when he came into the house.

“When he told us he had been held at knife point we were in absolute shock.

“It was such a terrifying ordeal for him and for us - to be so vulnerable to the small cul-de-sac of only four houses where we live.

“It is just horrible to be scared on your own doorstep.

“The car drove right up behind him as if it had been following him specifically.

“My son assumed it was his brother coming home who had parked behind him so it was a real shock when he was held up with the knife.”

Two of the perpetrators are believed to be white, while the other is believed to be black and was wearing a balaclava during the incident.

It is believed that the thieves drove away in the victim’s BMW and a dark-coloured Jaguar XJ.

No arrests have been made but enquiries continue.
