A women has been left with a broken arm after an incident involving two vehicles.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident in Walthamstow on Sunday at 12.45pm on the A406 Westbound, exiting on the Crooked Billet roundabout.

It was reported that a 32-year-old woman driving a green Ford Focus had been involved in a verbal dispute with a driver of a Volkswagen Sirocco.

The dispute turned into an altercation which led to the female sustaining injuries to her arm.

Officers are seeking any witnesses to the incident or anyone who has information about the identity of the occupants of the Volkswagen Sirocco.

Detective Constable Jamie Howden, of North East Command Unit, said: "As a result of this incident, the female victim has sustained a double fracture to her arm, which has required surgery.

I know there were a number of people who stopped and assisted the victim immediately after this incident and I would particularly like to trace them."
