A road traffic collision involving an emergency response has been reported.

The incident was reported around 2pm today on Hoe Street in Walthamstow.

Met Police officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene where three people were accessed.

There were no serious injuries and no-one involved was taken to hospital.

A Guardian reporter who witnessed the aftermath of the collision saw a small silver car pulled up on the side of the road with its drivers' side window completely smashed. There were two passengers in the car at the time.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2:01pm today (17 January) to reports of a road traffic collision involving one of our fast response cars on Hoe Street, Walthamstow.

“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a single responder in a car to the scene.

“We assessed three people at the scene but didn’t take anyone to hospital."
