Firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Leytonstone.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called when a fire destroyed almost half of the first floor and part of the roof of the mid-terraced house in on Michael Road.
A woman left the property before the Brigade arrived - There were no reports of any injuries.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 11.31pm last night (March 11) and the fire was under control by 1.24am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
