Two women have stepped into the spotlight by modelling for a spa that has pledged to "keep it real" by using its clients as models.

Deborah Halls, 54, and Donna Hill, 51, from Walthamstow have been chosen to be among the first client models used for spa chain Spa Experience's latest advertising campaign.

The spa, which has a branch in Chingford Road, Walthamstow, organised a photoshoot with models aged 18 to 54 from across their six London locations.

Ms Halls said: "I have been coming to Spa Experience Waltham Forest for many years and jumped at the chance to be a model. It was a wonderful day and I applaud what Spa Experience is doing."

Ms Hill added: "We definitely need to see less models and more real people in advertising and on social media. I was over the moon to be asked to take part and the photo shoot was fantastic."

Spa Experience was awarded employer of the year at the professional

Spa Experience national spa and fitness class manager Melissa Evans said: “At Spa Experience we want to promote mental as well as physical health and wellness and the anxieties around body image are well documented.

“Taking the decision to stop using models and focus on our real clients instead was an obvious one. The photo shoot was a real celebration of what we stand for and we could not be happier with the results.”
