A new football league has formed within the district and is seeking new players to sign up.

The Loughton six-a-side is welcoming family, friends and work colleagues to train weekly from Tuesday, June 4.

A statement issued on Total Football Mania said: “We are keen to provide friendly but competitive games and as we provide this not to make a profit it means we can keep match fees low and with fully FA qualified refs, great venues and the best personalised trophies for league winners that you will find.

“We have set our standards high and are aiming at expanding at a rapid rate to bring some great future prospects.”

Those who recommends a friend that enters a team to the league will receive a free game after they have completed a full season.

Training sessions take place in Chigwell Monday evenings from 7:30-9.30pm and Tuesday evenings at Roding Valley High School in Loughton from 8pm-10pm.
