A discount retail shop will be holding a party and artwork exhibition created by schoolchildren in celebration of their 50th anniversary.
The Original Factory Shop on The Broadway, Debden, selected Thomas Willingale School to represent their branch in a national competition against other stores to win £1,000.
Pupils were tasked to reflect what best represents what their community means to them which will be judged by the company’s CEO, Emma Fox.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in the community,” said Ms Fox. “Everyone in Debden is coming together for what we’re hoping will be an amazing event.
“All the schools entries that have come in so far have been amazing and it’s going to be tough to pick a winner overall.
“We want to thank everyone for their tremendous efforts so far and I’d like to personally invite everyone in the area to come and get involved in what will be an amazing celebration.”
The team at the Debden store are looking for performers to get in touch and showcase their talent to the community on the day of the anniversary
