Good morning,

A week of sunshine and warm weather to look forward to this after an indifferent weekend of weather.

Out on the roads, the outlook is not to bright.

The A406 at Brent Cross has been shut for the second time in less than a week - this time because of a collision.

Last Wednesday, a warehouse fire caused chaos near Brent Cross, and after a crash in the early hours of this morning, the A406 has been closed again.

It is shut westbound between Staples Corner (M1) and Neasden Lane.

Traffic is slow back towards Golders Corner. Eastbound is open after it was also closed. Major delays in the area. As a result, the M1 is busy southbound with queues between j2 and j1 and also slow getting off at j2.

Elsewhere, very slow on the M25 anticlockwise from j21 at the M1 all the way round to the M4. It is stop start most of the way but particularly slow approaching the M40.

Delays also on the M1 southbound between j6A for the M25 and j5 for Watford. Also in the area, slow on the A405 at Bricket Wood both ways and delays on the A414 westbound between the London Colney roundabout and the Park Street roundabout, near St Albans.

Busy on routes in and around Watford including St Albans Road through Garston, Hempstead Road into town and Hampermill Lane approaching the junction with Deacons Hill in Oxhey.

A good service on tube and train lines.
