Commuters experienced severe Tube delays on the Northern Line due to an earlier signal failure at Kennington.
The Northern Line was operating with severe delays across the line due to a continuing signal failure from Kennington since roughly 6am.
In the morning the severe delays affected areas between Camden Town and Morden, southbound via Bank and minor delays between Camden Town and Kennington, southbound via Charing Cross.
The signal failures escalated further delays, including no service between Camden Town and Morden via Bank and between Charing Cross and Morden.
Similar delays took place last Saturday (July 6) again due to signal failures at Kennington.
People are advised to avoid journeys with the Northern line as much as possible. Tickets are currently being accepted on local buses, London Trams, South Western Railway and Thameslink.
