A thank you enclosed with £20 to say thank you to their police officers hard work has left the team tearfully grateful.
The identity of the writer has remained anonymous except to Brentwood & Epping Community Policing Team, who received the letter today at Loughton Police Station.
Touched by the selfless gesture, the team shared an image of the note on their Twitter page dated Saturday, August 17.
The letter reads: “Enclosed in £20 towards the Police Fund for a “thank you” to all the brave policemen and women who keep us safe in our everyday life.
“We, the general public, really do appreciate all that you do for us on a day-to-day routinely basis!
“Thank you and God bless each one of you.”
Brentwood & Epping Community Policing Team mentioned how appreciative they were on their Twitter post and confirmed that the money will be donated to the Police Benevolent Fund.
