Police taped of Kirkdale Road, Leytonstone to investigate the man found dead today
A man in his 40s has been found dead in a street this morning, leading to the area to be cordoned off.
Police officers were seen taping off Kirkdale Road, Leytonstone, whilst paramedics arrived at the scene at around 8am on Friday, September 6.
The road has since reopened, the incident is reported to have happened next to Leytonstone tube station, close to several businesses and residential flats.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police are making enquiries to trace his next of kin.
