Two teenagers are set to appear at the Old Bailey today charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy.

On Tuesday, September 10, a second teenage boy aged 15-year-old [B] was arrested on suspicion of murder of Michael Irving from Woolwich.

The teen was charged with the murder and appeared at Stratford Youth Court the following day and is set to appear at the Old Bailey today (Friday, September 13).

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to Byford Close, Vicarage Lane, Stratford at 6:45pm on Tuesday, September 3

Officers attended and found Michael Irving suffering from stab injuries but sadly was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:48pm.

A post-mortem examination was conducted at East Ham Mortuary on Thursday, September 5, and found the cause of death to have been consistent with knife wounds.

A 16-year-old boy [A] was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, September 3, and he was also charged with the murder and will appear at the Old Bailey today too.

Officers continue to appeal for information.
