A charity casino night raised over £3,000 for children with disabilities across west Essex.

Team Upgrade and supporters of charity Accuro held the fundraising event at Canons Brook Golf Club in Harlow on Friday, August 30, raising £3,672.80.

Classic betting games were on offer, including roulette, blackjack and a wheel of fortune, with also the chance to win top prizes in a charity auction.

Alex Bright, one of the six members of Team Upgrade, said: “The event was a complete success. It was a great opportunity to bring together family, friends and colleagues together to support such an important and worthwhile cause.

“As a team we smashed our original goal and were so delighted to be able to make such a difference to a local cause.

“We learned that through support from your teammates, anything is truly possible when you put your mind to it.”
