What teachers in your school do you think deserves to be nominated for the 2020 Essex Teaching Awards?

Nominations for the annual awards ceremony is now open where residents can put forward which teaching colleagues have gone above and beyond.

The aim of the annual awards is to shine a spotlight and celebrate the exceptional support provided by schools and early years.

A statement from Essex County Council says: “Everyone spends time in the formal education system and it's the actions of individuals working in schools and early years settings that can influence some of the biggest decisions we'll ever make.

“Anyone working or volunteering in an education or early years setting in Essex can be nominated, including teachers, teaching assistants, school support staff, governors, childminders and other early years professionals.”

Deadline to submit your nominations is Sunday, November 3.
