An 11-year-old is among the one per cent of the world most intelligent people - that's according to British Mensa's IQ test.
Sonakshi Seetohul, who studied at from Avanti Court Primary School and is now at Woodford County High School for Girls, did so well at her 11+ exam that the head teacher recommended she took an IQ test.
Sonakshi scored 160, putting her at genius level. She achieved the same score as Professor Stephen Hawking scored. It is also apparently the estimated IQ of Albert Einstein.
As a result of her achievement, Sonakshi has been officially invited to join Mensa.

Although she had always been considered bright at school, neither Sonakshi nor her parents were prepared for the test results.
Mum Shoba Seetohul said: “The head teacher suggested she did an IQ test. I had never thought about it, so she took the test without preparing and we went on holiday to Mauritius for three weeks. When we got back we got her results. We were very impressed!”

Sonakshi, from Barkingside, has always had a love of reading, and spends a lot of time in the library. She is also passionate about environmental issues such as climate change and what it could mean for the future.
The 11-year-old says she would like to be an author, although her mum says she is still at an age where anything is possible.
