A murder investigation is underway after a man died following a shooting.
Officers were called at 9:27am on Tuesday, September 17, to reports of a man suffering gunshot injuries at a residential block in Lansdowne Road, Walthamstow.
The man – 33-year-old Mark McCann-Barrett from Waltham Cross – was taken to an east London hospital for treatment. He died in hospital on Monday, September 30.
His next of kin are aware.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at Haringey Mortuary today, Thursday, October 3.
On Saturday, September 28, Louis Kelly, 39, of Belgrave Gardens, St John's Wood, was charged with attempted murder, appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday, Wednesday, 2 October.
