London’s highest rated college for learner satisfaction welcomed new students at a two-day freshers’ event.
Waltham Forest College opened its doors to over 1,000 new students, both young and adult learners.
Pupils explored deals, fun activities, memberships, freebies and services on offer at the college.
Exhibitors included Krispy Crème, Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre, The Blair Academy Dance Group, Pizza Hut, Nationwide, London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC), Hope Not Hate, Young People Sexual Health Clinic and more.
Attendees enjoyed table football and kick-up challenges, free pizza and doughnuts, drumming have-a-go sessions, and were all given a free re-usable water bottle.

Director of learner services, marketing and communication, Amir Ahmed said: “There can be so much more to student life than studying. At Waltham Forest College we invest in the student experience as well as the academic success.
“The sheer scale of student-run, student-led activities that is available, is designed to give our learners every opportunity to try something new, discover new passions and create their futures.”

The college is rated number one for learner satisfaction on the FE Week NICEDX league table
Waltham Forest College will be welcoming prospective learners at an open event on Wednesday, November 6 from 4.30pm – 7pm.
