The first fireworks went off last Monday night, and I thought with all the pollution and issues with global warming, wouldn’t it be better to stop buying them and instead use the money to donate to food banks (or other charities) instead.

After all, parents buy fireworks for their children (allegedly) and it’s the children who are protesting about pollution issues. So I urge all parents to think very carefully when they take their hard earned money and send it up in smoke.
