A pop-up café that sells food saved from supermarket skips is looking for a permanent site.
The volunteer-run Random Café operates six days a week at locations around Watford, asking customers to pay however much they feel the food is worth.
With the motto #feedbelliesnotbins, it has rescued and redistributed 29 tonnes of food to the community and fed more than 1,400 people since it opened in 2017.
Founder and owner Jane Johnson wants to raise £10,000 to clean and refurbish a shop in Vicarage Road that it can turn into a café.

She is also searching for electricians and plumbers to help fit out the premises and would like to use donated materials including cupboards and tables.
She said: “The café started off as an environmental decision as all food was being wasted.
"My aim is always to divert it from landfill to be environmentally used.
“The café helps people socially, especially those who are on a tight budget and gives them a way to have a café experience as well as buy fruit and vegetables for their families.”
