A house has been saved from burning to the ground after an electrical fault caused a fire in the garage.
Firefighters from Loughton and Chingford were called to the incident in Nevill Way, Loughton, at 10:43 am on Sunday, November 10.
Upon arrival, fire crews reported that the garage was 100 per cent alight and the fire was quickly spreading to the adjoining house and neighbour's garage.
The blaze was extinguished the by 11.30am and then spent time dampening the area down and ensuring the area was safe.
Fire damage to the garage was reported while the house suffered from some smoke damage.

Watch manager of Loughton Fire Station, Ryan Fernandes, said: "Crews did a great job in quickly bringing the fire under control and stopping it spreading further.
"It is thanks to the high level of firefighting skill and the great teamwork between Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and London Fire Brigade that the house did not suffer more serious fire damage."
