The date for an annual Christmas lights switch-on dedicated to remembering loved ones has been announced.
'Light up a Life' at Kings Green in Loughton is a torch-lit procession from Loughton Methodist Church on High Road to Kings Green.
A joint venture between the town council and St Clare Hospice, residents are invited to celebrate the life of a family member or friend during the festive season.
After short service and carol singing, the Christmas lights by the war memorial will then be switched on, followed by hot drinks and mince pies courtesy of Morrisons.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 30, in the foyer of the Loughton Methodist Church from 4.30pm, leaving at approximately 4.45pm.
