A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in an early morning attack.
Police were called at about 6.15am today (Friday, December 27) to reports of a stabbing in Buckrell Road, Chingford.
Officers found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering injuries – he was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The victim's condition has been confirmed by police as "not life-threatening".
A police cordon remains in place at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “No arrests; enquiries continue. Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 1228/27Dec. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
