A man has been arrested following a fight which left another man hospitalised.
Police were called at about 6.50pm on Sunday, January 5 to reports of a fight involving two males in New Road, Chingford.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
A man, aged in his 30s, was taken to an east London hospital for treatment to head injuries; his condition is not life-threatening.
A second man, aged 55, was arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
A crime scene remains in place.
