- Fortunately, no one was injured.
- However, it was a chaotic scene after the car hit a water company's booster pump, causing it to burst.
- Affinity Water, which serves Borehamwood, said it received a high volume of calls reporting problems with water pressure.
- The company asked residents to use water sparingly.
- However, the company has now reconfigured the network so residents should now have a normal supply of water.
- Two lanes on the A1 southbound were closed causing traffic delays.
