A GROUP of four suspected illegal immigrants were discovered in the back of a horse box in Marlborough.
The men, who are thought to be Sudanese, were handed over to immigration officials by Wiltshire Police.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "We received a call at 9.10am on Tuesday following a report that four people had been found in a horse box at an address in London Road, Marlborough.
“Officers attended and four males, all believed to be from Sudan, were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.
“The case will now be passed to the UK Border Agency.”
The case is just the latest example of human trafficking in the county.
In November, 15 suspected illegal immigrants were discovered in the back of a lorry stopped between Chippenham and the M4.
The driver, an Irishman in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of assisting illegal entry into the country. He was subsequently released.on bail.
