A man has been charged after a member of staff at a Tesco Express store in Amersham was threatened and demands were made for the till to be emptied.
Twenty-one-year-old Jordan Pierce, of no fixed abode, was arrested yesterday after the robbery at the Tesco Express in Hill Avenue on Tuesday.
Pearce has been charged with one count of robbery, two counts of common assault of an emergency worker and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today and has been remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 9.
