A MAN reportedly touched a teenage girl "inappropriately" as she got off a bus in Fareham.

Officers are appealing for witnesses of the incident which saw a man inappropriately touch a teenage girl over her clothes as she left the number 20 bus in Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham.

This took place at around 3.15 on Thursday January 23.

The offender was described as being black, aged in his 40s or 50s, with a grey beard and was reportedly wearing a red and black hat, with large over the ear headphones on top of the hat.

Now Police are appealing for witnesses after it was believed a number of passengers challenged the man as the incident took place.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place on a bus in Fareham on Thursday 23 January.
