A chef is challenging himself to create the best sausage roll.
Alec Tomasso from The Weeping Chef in St Albans will take part in this years Great Sausage Roll Off next Wednesday (February 5).
For the eighth year, licensees Claire Morgan and Angus McKean will be hosting the competition The Red Lion in Barnes.
Mr Tomasso is the owner of a mobile kitchen where he sells street food including burgers.
The competition will see 20 chefs compete to try and make the ultimate sausage roll while raising money for the charity Hospitality Action.
The charity offers help, advice and support to people who have worked or are still working in the hospitality industry.

It works with people who are facing difficulties including financial, physical and mental illness and family problems.
Claire Morgan added: “It’s a fantastic night, normally quite chaotic, but great fun.
"The atmosphere is amazing, we will raise lots of money for Hospitality Action, and I can’t wait to see who is going to walk away with the trophy this year.”
The competition will be judged TV celebrity chef Simon Rimmer, Heart FM DJ Lucy Horobin, head chef at Henne Kirkeby Kro in Denmark Paul Cunningham and head chef at Petrus and Paul Foster Russell Bateman.
Angus McKean said: “Every year, the competition gets bigger and better and this year is our strongest line up ever.
"I can’t wait to see the weird and wonderful combinations of pastry, filling and accompaniments the chefs will submit."
