A fruit and vegetable stall is set to open outside The Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Patients, visitors and people will have the opportunity to buy a variety of produce while visiting the Harlow-based hospital.
Junior doctors, Emma Astaire and Pearl Ampah, came up with the idea following a survey of the snack choices patients make on their ward.
Ms Astaire said: “Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health and can help you feel your best.
“The stall will offer a delicious and vibrant array of fruit and vegetables, with seasonal choices available too.”
The Princess Alexandra fruit and vegetable stall will open on Monday, February 10.
Pick up your favourite healthy options outside the hospital’s main entrance, Monday–Friday, from 8am-5pm.
