A contactless payment point has been set up on an office window to allow people to effortlessly donate to the homeless.
As part of its Tap2Beat campaign to encourage people to donate to five charities in the St Albans district, marketing agency OnBrand has installed a contactless payment point on its window.
The installation was opened by Daisy Cooper MP on Tuesday (February 18).
Passersby who tap their cards will be donating three pounds to charities: Open Door, Centre 33, Herts Young Homeless, Emmaus and Druglink.
The scheme was supported by funding from St Albans BID and St Albans City and District Council.

OnBrand managing director Daniel Graham said: "Charity is one of the key values of our business and we're always looking at ways we can support the area.
"Working at the forefront of technology and having a prominent shop front shop in the heart of St Albans, means we are perfectly places to create a unique and inviting fundraising initiative."
