A man has been charged with murder after a woman died at a residential address in Leyton.
Yixing Song was charged with murder on Wednesday, February 26.
The 53-year-old of Raleigh Road, Hornsey, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, February 27) where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, March 2.
Li Qing Wang, 35, was found at an address in Magnolia Close suffering from fatal injuries just before midday on Tuesday, February 25.
Emergency services were unable to save her life and she died at the scene.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.
