A HUGE search operation has been launched for a woman missing at sea.
Hastings Police are working with coastguard and lifeboat colleagues to find a woman who was seen in an apparently distressed state on the sea wall at Rock-A-Nore, Hastings, just before 7pm tonight.
They said conditions are very rough and they are concerned for her safety, but it's not clear who she is or if she has come to any harm.
She is thought to be around 40, 5' 6", with shoulder-length dark hair, wearing dark waterproof clothing and has ripped red trousers.
Nobody has been reported missing, but if it's you or you know who it is, call 999 immediately to let them know know you are/she is safe quoting serial 1237 of 28/02.
