The driver of a red Tesla was left uninjured after they veered off the carriageway and crashed into a bridge.
The emergency services were called to a collision involving a single car on the A41 North Western Avenue near Leavesden.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it received a call just before 5.40pm yesterday (Thursday).
It was reported to police that a Tesla had left the carriageway and crashed through onto a grass embankment before hitting a bridge.

The road was closed to allow fire crews and paramedics to attend the scene.
However, police say that no injuries were reported, but the driver was taken by ambulance to hospital to be assessed.
