  • In Essex, Public Health England has confirmed 45 cases.

  • There are 15 confirmed cases in Newham, 30 in Havering, and 30 in Barking and Dagenham.

  • London now accounts for 1,965 of the UK's 5,018 confirmed cases.

  • Across the country, there have been 233 virus related deaths.

  • Boris Johnson has warned the NHS could be "overwhelmed" if people do not act to slow the "accelerating" spread of coronavirus.
