Confirmed coronavirus infections across Essex has surpassed the 500 mark.
As of April 2, Public Health England had confirmed 517 Covid-19 infections across the county.
NHS England today revealed eight coronavirus patients had died at the Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow.
London accounts for 9,291 of the UK’s 33,718 total cases of the deadly virus which has so far claimed 2,921 lives.

The health secretary also announced new measures to boost coronavirus testing, for both NHS staff and the public, with an aim to deliver 100,000 tests a day by the end of the month.
