An app to help the people of Marlow battle the coronavirus has been repurposed by an anonymous member of the public.

Vamoos, which is available on Android and Apple devices, is a central hub for information about local restaurants, food producers and NHS links to help residents easily locate things they need during the current pandemic.

The app has recently resurfaced after a member of a Marlow Facebook page received the tip off from the app’s founder.

Anna Morant, who is a member of the Marlow Facebook page, Marlow Life, told the Bucks Free Press: “The Marlow Life admin was approached by a resident who has repurposed his business app to help the residents in our community.

“It's free to use and is a central hub for important information needed during these unprecedented times.

“This has purely been done as a community aid, not to self promote or make any money. It's free to use.

“If you have any suggestions to be added to the lists please message me directly and I will feed these back.

“I'm sure the community will find this invaluable.”

When you have installed the app, use the User ID of COVID and then the passcode of MARLOW.
