An investigation has been launched after a woman was reportedly dragged into a vehicle in Harlow.

Officers believe the woman was forced into the car on Friday, May 29 by an individual known to her in what police have described as a "domestic incident".

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We initially received information that the woman was forced into a grey Nissan Murano – registration NJ07 TZN – in Westfield at around 6am.

"We believe this vehicle then travelled into Enfield, where the woman exited the vehicle. The car then drove off into Kent."

Detectives are looking to speak to the woman, anyone known to her, or anyone who witnessed the incident.
