Hello, my name is Bruno and I’m a five-year-old Mastiff cross. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust from the pound in November as an unloved stray. My nickname here is 'One Ton Fun' as I act like a big puppy and love to play with everyone.

I’m a big, inquisitive lad, so I’ll need an owner who is strong and has had large breeds before.

I respond well to reward-based training and will need to continue this in my new home as I’m still learning the basics.

Watford Observer:

Centre manager Jackie calls me 'a big, cuddly lump' because I love being fussed over. I also like a comfy bed, especially a sofa, so if you have a spare one for me, that would be perfect.

I don’t like being left on my own, so I’ll need an owner who is around all the time to keep me company until I’ve had time to settle and realise that my new family isn’t abandoning me every time they walk out the door.

I’m looking for a home in a quiet location and with its own secure garden.

I can live with adults or families with children aged 14 and over who are used to large bouncy dogs. I would like to be the only pet in the home.
