Police are on the lookout for a biker who has been riding dangerously across a village common and cricket ground.

Police say they have received an increase in reports of a green dirt or 'scrambler bike' with no registration plate in Kings Langley.

Officers spotted the bike on Monday June 22 and signalled for the rider to stop but they failed to do so - and a search of the area proved unsuccessful.

Police say not only is the biker riding illegally on footpaths and open spaces, but his manner of riding is both reckless and dangerous.

Patrols are being stepped up in Kings Langley and police officers are all aware of the bike and what it looks like.

Members of the public are also urged to report any sightings and take any photographs if it is safe to do so.
