The family of a missing vulnerable camper have been searching for him everyday, his mother has revealed.

Edward Jerram, 21, left his Moreton home on Saturday, June 6 and he has not returned since.

His mother, Sharon, said: “We are desperate to find Edward, he is vulnerable and we need him back home with us.

“We have been searching again today, we have been searching every day.

“We believe Edward is living rough and he may look dishevelled.

“We believe he is avoiding human interaction and he may be laying low in wooded areas or in the countryside.

“He may also be walking at night and within rural areas.

“We would urge anyone who has any information, no matter how small, to contact police.”

Essex Police say they have been carrying out extensive searches without any success.

While he may be in Essex, there may be a chance Edward – who is considered vulnerable – is walking and possibly in other parts of the country.

Edward is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of very slim build. He has wavy blonde hair and blue eyes.

Detectives believe he is wearing black jogging bottoms or grey waterproof trousers with a soft shell top.

He has a black waterproof ARC’TERYX coat and a black ARC’TERYX rucksack with him.

Anyone with information about Edward’s whereabouts is asked to call Loughton police station on 101. Alternatively, if you’re with him now, please call 999.
