Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in St Dunstan's Hill.
Officers were called to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a car at around 2.15 pm on June 28.
The collision happened near to the junction with the A232 and Sears Park.
The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old man, was rushed to hospital for treatment but sadly died at around 5.30 pm.
His next of kin has been informed.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.
