Hello, my name's Maisy and I’m a beautiful 14-year-old girl.

I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in June when my owners had a change in circumstances and sadly couldn’t look after me.

I’m a sensitive lady of advanced years who is struggling to settle into cattery life. I’m quite vocal and may grumble, or even hiss at you, when we first meet but please don’t be put off – I’m just scared and confused. I really am quite friendly and, once I know you, enjoy a gentle fuss.

I will need an experienced owner with a gentle, patient and understanding approach. I love Dreamies so maybe you could use these to win me over. If you offer me your hand, I’ll give you head butts and wait for you to scratch my head.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a quiet home with adults or families with children aged 14 and over. I could live as a house cat, or if I do have access to the outdoors I’ll need to live on a quiet road. As I’m feeling a bit bewildered, I’d like to be the only pet in the home.

I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

Watford Observer:

If you can give Maisy the calm, loving home she needs, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit once the NAWT reopens.
