More businesses and chains have signed up for the Government's scheme which covers half of each diner's bill - here are some more St Albans eateries that have registered.

The 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme was announced this month which is designed to encourage people to safely return to dining out.

The scheme starts from next Monday (August 3) and restaurants, bars, cafes and other hospitality businesses have already started to sign up.

The scheme grants customers 50 per cent off meals, with a maximum discount of £10 per person.

Greene King has already announced it has signed up to the scheme so pubs such as the Speckled Hen in St Albans will be offering the discount.
