The buildings look largely the same but their purposes have changed.
This is how numbers 401 to 407 in Hoe Street, Leyton, have changed in the last 60 years.
The top picture, featuring a clothes cleaning shop and driving school, was taken in 1960.
Although 70 years separates these two pictures, a lot of the detail in this picture again remains largely unchanged.
This is the site of the former Wood Street Post Office in Waverley Road, Walthamstow, which had made way for a study centre in the image, below, taken last year.
