Essex Police are looking to trace the driver of a white car who may have witnessed a serious collision in Brentwood yesterday morning.
Police were called to London Road shortly after 6.10am on Tuesday, October 20 to reports a motorcyclist had been injured near the junction with Kavanaghs Road.
The man, who is aged in his 30s and from Chelmsford, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A white car was seen to drive through the scene immediately after the collision and turned left out of Kavanaghs Road, travelling along London Road in the direction of the M25 and Brook Street roundabout.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are looking to trace the driver, who may have seen what happened and be able to help with our enquiries.
"We’d also like to speak to anyone else who has yet to come forward and was in the area at the time or has dash cam footage.
"Contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email CollisionAppeal@essex.pnn.police.uk quoting incident 117 of 20 October."
