A community project providing vital support for those in need during the pandemic is set to receive additional help during lockdown.

The 3food4u charity has been nominated for the Joseph and Lilian Sully Foundation donation and to Essex County Council (Essex Association of Local Councils) for grant funding lockdown support for the community by Loughton Town Council and mayor Cllr Stella Murphy.

This is set to help provide a vital lifeline for so many in these challenging times.

Organisers have thanked Urbanest and Rose and Gus Kearin for facilitating the donation of 600 food packs including super noodles, coke, playing cards and sweets to the project. The donations will be used to feed several hundred families in the local area.
