Remember to go and vote today!
Residents can vote in four elections: Epping Forest District Council, Essex County Council, town and parish councils, and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex.
Voters have been asked to bring their own pen and a face mask to polling stations as part of the district’s Covid-19 safety voting safety precautions.
Local elections are playing out across the country, on what has been dubbed Super Thursday.
Polling stations opened at 7am across Great Britain in the largest test of political opinion outside a general election.
The stations close at 10pm tonight, so make sure you get down to yours and register your vote before then.
Votes for the county, district and parish councils will be counted on Friday morning with results expected closer to midday.
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner election votes will be counted on Saturday.
